Lower than Jimmy Carter

How Low Can He Go?

June 21, 2007 - In 19 months, George W. Bush will leave the White House for the last time. The latest NEWSWEEK Poll suggests that he faces a steep climb if he hopes to coax the country back to his side before he goes. In the new poll, conducted Monday and Tuesday nights, President Bush’s approval rating has reached a record low. Only 26 percent of Americans, just over one in four, approve of the job the 43rd president is doing; while, a record 65 percent disapprove, including nearly a third of Republicans...

But the 26 percent rating puts Bush lower than Jimmy Carter, who sunk to his nadir of 28 percent in a Gallup poll in June 1979. In fact, the only president in the last 35 years to score lower than Bush is Richard Nixon. Nixon’s approval rating tumbled to 23 percent in January 1974, seven months before his resignation over the botched Watergate break-in.

LOL!

Hardball Exclusive: Michael Moore Sicko Interview

Michael Moore interviewed by David Shuster on Capitol Hill today.

Does anybody watching this video disagree with Michael Moore on how crappy our health care system is in this country? Who dares to agree that health care in this country is working?

Michael Moore - "Well the Bush administration is upset because I took a group of 9/11 rescue workers, that the Bush administration will not provide health care for, to our Naval base in Guantanamo Bay, in Cuba. And I wanted them to receive the same free health care that we're giving the al Qaeda detainees. The Bush administration provides free dental, free eye-care and free medical for all the people that are accused of plotting 9/11. The people who ran down to Ground Zero to save lives, don't have health care. I think that is a travesty."

Conservative Support

How are Conservatives doing out there on the campaign trail? Are they attracting huge crowds like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? Take a look at a few of these videos I found on YouTube of Barack Obama appearances:

20,000 in Atlanta!

Earth Day in Iowa City (10,000)

Oakland Rally (18,000)

What is it with Barack Obama? Is anyone on the Republican/Conservative ticket creating this much buzz and excitement? How are the crowds looking at Mitt Romney any Rudy Giuliani rally's for instance? I know John McCain campaigned up in Reno to 350 supporters. What about others?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Is Bush a "Lame Duck" yet?

I stumbled across a great blog today.

"strypgia" is a blogger stationed in Rustamiyah, Iraq. His blog bio says:

"I get shot at for minimum wage and college loan repayment. A Bachelor's in History should serve me well in Iraq. I can tell them all about the history of the province as we are pinned down in a firefight, or give an exstensive discourse on just why they hate us this week."

He gives well written details about life on the front lines in Iraq. Check out his writings when you get a chance.

Also... CNN just posted a piece about Conservative Bloggers being in "full revolt" over immigration. LOL! Wow... Just now figuring that one out CNN?

Anyways...  At the end of the article a great question is asked:

Is Bush a lame duck among Conservative bloggers?

Well... Is he?
